Ian co-founded Puregenie Digital Recruitment back in 2006 when he and Gail Kenny recognised an increase in demand for candidates with online skills, and felt that the sector was worthy of a dedicated team with specialist skills. Ian has assisted many ecommerce businesses scope their management teams, and has a keen eye for spotting digital talent.
Ian first became involved in the online sector in 1999 when he was appointed MD of Virgin.com’ travel business. He later went on to co-found an online accommodation aggregator called Medhotels.com which was successfully sold to Lastminute.com and later to Thomas Cook. He retains a keen interest in the online sector and trends across the digital marketing channels.
