Lowcostholidays withdrew an online ad campaign asking consumers if they’ve been ‘Thomas Crooked’. It blamed an “overzealous member of staff’. Companies need to set brand guidelines, both offline and online. This is more difficult to mandate however with social media and the freedom/speed it affords.
