Pretty much everyone is on Twitter. It’s not only a tool to let your followers know about your breakfast, but is a fantastic way of finding people. This works both ways.
Using the right hash-tags, keywords and links, you can make it a useful resource for finding or advertising a new career move.
If you search for a specific term such as #jobs, #jobhunt or #jobsearch, you’ll get a wide range of Tweets with a variety of more general information. If you’re advertising your LinkedIn profile, mention the site with an ‘@’ symbol, as well as adding some other searchable ‘#-tags’ like ‘#e-commerce’, ‘#socialmedia’, ‘#CV’ or even ‘#dreamjob’.
You can follow @puregenie for a regularly updated feed of E-Commerce and Digital Media positions and @gailkennyrec for Travel Industry positions with some major clients. Both also have regularly updated blogs (Puregenie & Gail Kenny Recruitment) with news and articles, which are well worth checking out.

High praise indeed. Thanks.
